Steve's career began at 16 working at an award winning Architects in his hometown of Aberdeen, Scotland. Immediately drawn to the creativity and fast paced atmosphere, he worked his way up from copying blueprints and brewing coffee to serving an Apprenticeship in Architectural Design Technology.
Upon graduation from Robert Gordon University, Steve has continued to diversify a career in Design, Construction & Development. Over the past 20 years, he has worked on dynamic projects in Europe, North America, the Caribbean & Asia.
Steve continues to work on International real estate development projects, including luxury hospitality, retail, casino, marina & custom residential homes.
Steve was selected to compete in TV lifestyle show 'The Ultimate W Expert Challenge' and was a finalist as the Design & Construction Expert. He then co-hosted on HGTV's 'Candice Tells All', combining his passion for Design & Construction with a tendency to show off now and again. The show is distributed to over 120million homes in North America, and broadcast in global markets inc. Europe, Asia, South America & Australia.
His design background has evolved into real estate development & project management, though various mediums. Steve speaks at Industry related seminars / trade-shows and is a regular contributor on print and online media. He has set himself a goal of sharing his expertise and passion with with as many people as possible.
